The Oasis Cafe – a place to get a coffee, a cooked breakfast, lunch, have a chat, meet a friend, do your homework, read your emails…and always get a warm welcome.

We have free WiFi, and you spend as much or as little time here as you like.  We operate a Suspended drinks and meals scheme so if you need something and don’t have any cash on you, ask your server.

The Oasis Cafe is run by Debs and a team of volunteers and new volunteers are always welcome – talk to Debs for more information or click here: Volunteer Information

Supporting Coalville Food Bank

Hugglescote Community Church and The Oasis Cafe support Coalville Food Bank.  Every year we collect supplies for them as part of our Harvest celebrations and we will be doing that this Sunday.

If you would like to drop something in we have a collection box by the counter and regularly drop donations off to them.  This month they are short of the following items:  Tinned Potatoes, Cartons of UHT Milk & Juice, Rice Pudding, Instant Mashed Potato, Coffee

We can also refer you to the Food Bank if you need help.  Ask for Debs or Sarah in The Oasis and we can have a chat and see what we can do.  The Oasis also offers Suspended Coffees and Meals and thanks to the generosity of our customers we have a lot of meals and coffees available. Pop in for a tasty snack, lunch or just chill out with coffee and cake.

About

The Oasis is run by Hugglescote Community Church. Through the Café and other activities in the building we seek to serve the people of Hugglescote and the wider community, by providing opportunities that help people to experience life in all its fullness.

We are unashamedly Christian but respect the journeys that other people are on.

We want to welcome each person to the Oasis and believe that they are an individual to be valued and treated with respect, and that they should feel safe physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We want to be generous with the resources we have, particularly to those in need, making the Oasis space available, and offering support to local groups and individuals.

The Oasis Café is one of the activities that happens in the building – we seek to be hospitable and welcoming to all our customers, offering drinks and food that are freshly prepared, tasty and reasonably priced.
