The Oasis is now open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 1:30pm. We will also open at the same times on Tuesdays from 29th September.

Our Manager Debs and the team will give you a warm welcome and are taking all steps possible to keep you safe and comply with the latest Government guidance. When you visit, please wait at the door to be shown to a table and sanitise your hands on entry.

There will be a reduced menu, and all service will be at your table to avoid contact at the serving counter. The toilet will be open, as will the garden (weather permitting). Please take special care to keep your distance from others in the passageway to the garden.

In compliance with social distancing rules, no more than 6 people can share a table and you must keep a safe distance from others. Please be sure to follow any other guidance given to you when you visit. As per the latest Government rules, you will be required to provide contact details on entry. This information will only be held for the purpose of contract tracing should that be necessary.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back!

The Oasis is a great place to get a coffee, a cooked breakfast, lunch, have a chat, meet a friend, do your homework, read your emails…and always get a warm welcome.

We have free WiFi, and you spend as much or as little time here as you like.

About

The Oasis is run by Hugglescote Community Church. Through the Café and other activities in the building we seek to serve the people of Hugglescote and the wider community, by providing opportunities that help people to experience life in all its fullness.

We are unashamedly Christian but respect the journeys that other people are on.

We want to welcome each person to the Oasis and believe that they are an individual to be valued and treated with respect, and that they should feel safe physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We want to be generous with the resources we have, particularly to those in need, making the Oasis space available, and offering support to local groups and individuals.

The Oasis Café is one of the activities that happens in the building – we seek to be hospitable and welcoming to all our customers, offering drinks and food that are freshly prepared, tasty and reasonably priced.
